Spinal Energetics
Spinal Energetics is a gentle yet powerful modality that supports the nervous system to release stored tension, unwind protective patterns and restore balance within the body. By working with the innate intelligence of the client’s spine, nervous system and energetic field, sessions allow the body to naturally recalibrate, creating greater ease, clarity and connection.
This work can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, ease physical discomfort and chronic pain, enhance the nervous system’s capacity to respond to daily stressors, and deepen self-awareness, supporting you to feel more grounded, aligned and connected to your inner wisdom.
A session begins with gentle grounding and a light assessment of the body. I then use a combination of light touch, sound and breath to support the body in unwinding tension patterns. During a session, unprocessed emotions may surface, or you may feel the urge to stretch or move as the body releases. Some people feel deeply relaxed or sleepy, while others feel more energised, open, or reflective.
Each session is guided by your needs in the moment and fully within your control, and Reiki is often incorporated to help the body soften and release more deeply.
For me, Spinal Energetics has brought moments of clarity, emotional release and subtle shifts in perspective that decades of talk therapy never achieved. I can't wait for you to experience its magic in your life too.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Tori.
For much of my life, I believed something was wrong with me.
I was highly sensitive, deeply reflective and constantly aware of what was happening internally and around me, yet underneath it all was a persistent feeling of not fully feeling safe, settled or connected within myself.
My childhood, all the way to my mid twenties, was shaped by anxiety, OCD and overwhelm. I spent years overthinking, adapting to other people, questioning myself and trying to fit into spaces that never truly felt aligned. I became highly attuned to other people’s emotions and expectations, often shaping myself around what felt safest, most accepted or least disruptive. I focused on achievements and perfectionism to give me a sense of control and, in an attempt to prevent rejection, criticism or disconnection.
On the outside, I appeared functional and self-aware. But internally, I often felt anxious, disconnected and stuck in cycles that I couldn’t seem to think my way out of.
Despite years of therapy and self-development, I often felt like I was managing symptoms rather than getting to the root. I was repeatedly told my brain was the problem and for a long time I believed that.
Everything began to shift when I started learning about the body and the nervous system. I stopped seeing myself as “broken” and started understanding my patterns through the lens of the nervous system.
What I came to realise was that many of the behaviours I had identified with — overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, hyper-independence, emotional overwhelm, being an ‘anxious person’ — were protective responses, not who I was. My nervous system had learned to stay alert, adapt and stay in control in order to feel safe.
As I began working with the body through somatic and subconscious approaches, I started to feel safer IN my body. I learned how to reconnect with my emotions, trust myself more deeply and express myself more honestly. Embracing my spiritual side also helped me reconnect with my intuition, and together these experiences began to shape a life that felt more aligned with who I truly was beneath fear and conditioning.
It wasn’t an overnight shift, but a gradual process of learning how to feel safer with my emotions, stop relating to myself through fear and pressure and create a deeper sense of self-trust and inner safety.
Many of us learn to wear masks — consciously or unconsciously — to feel safe, accepted or enough. My work is about gently peeling back those layers and returning to a more authentic way of being.
Through a combination of somatic work, subconscious-based approaches, mindset coaching and intuitive guidance, I now help people reconnect with themselves beneath survival patterns, anxiety, self-doubt and overthinking, so they can feel calmer in their body, trust themselves more deeply, express themselves more fully and create a life that feels aligned and expansive.
